InfiltraLong is a wound catheter (soaker catheter) infiltration system for continuous infiltration analgesia. The particular nature of the catheter allows an infusion, of smooth, targeted, administration of local anaesthetic. Pajunk InfiltraLong design is the only way of ensuring that the patient remains completely pain-free throughout the area on which surgery is being conducted. The use of these catheter after knee operations have shown to reduce patient’s hospital stay.
- InfiltraLong kit includes either a Tuohy needle or a split cannula, a multi eyed catheter, filter and FixoLong (filter holder).
- Tuohy Needle: metal stylet, colour coded hub for gauge of needle, depth markings 1cm increments
- Split cannula: 105mm puncture needle with peel away sheath (for 18G catheter)
- InfiltraLong Cather: multi eyed catheter with openings across 40mm up to 220m
